Starscourge Radahn is one of the most impressive bosses in Elden Ring. At least, he was before the game's latest patch nerfed him significantly. He may deal less damage now, but the fight is still visually spectacular, and if you're chomping at the bit to face off against him, but you don't want to deal with Castle Redmane and the Festival, fear not, we found a skip for you.
The Radahn Festival is actually crucial to fight the boss in Elden Ring, where Radahn is stationed in Wailing Dunes. It allows players to summon many helpful NPCs to help in the boss fight. There are two ways Tarnished can start the festival and it's up to fans to decide which path they prefer to take.
How To Get To Radahn In Elden Ring
Radahn isn't like most Dark Souls bosses we've seen in the past, as the leadup to his boss fight isn't one filled with a castle full of enemies, traps and other annoyances.
Instead, Radahn hosts some sort of festival, where warriors from all around the world come together in order to try and slay him.
Radahn's boss fight can be started in two ways, if the Great Life of Dectus is started or if you take on the Ranni quest line just north of the manor.
Ranni's questline is the fastest way to reach Radahn. At the beginning of Elden Ring, players will find her in the Church of Elleh. She gives the Spirit Calling Bell, which enables the tarnished to summon helping Spirits. After that, complete the start of her questline by following these steps:
Speak with Ranni at Ranni's Rise in Three Sisters.
Talk with Iji, Blaidd, and Seluvis on the lower floor.
Talk with Blaidd in the Siofra River.
Ask Seluvis about Nokron in Seluvis's Rise.
Deliver the letter to Sorceress Sellen.
Go back to the Siofra River and speak with Blaidd.
The Half-Wolf explains that defeating Radahn is the key to unlocking Nokron. From there, go to Caelid and head to the Impassible Greatbridge Site of Lost Grace.
Near the bonfire, a Waygate can be seen. Interact with it to teleport inside the Redmane Castle.
Upon arriving, walk north and keep moving in the same direction until there's a huge open area ahead. Eventually, players can find Blaidd inside. Interact with him, then:
Go upstairs where Jerren, the Witch Hunter is welcoming everyone to the Radahn Festival.
Ask him to join the event, then turn around to the northwest and enter the big castle.
Enter the room directly behind a chair.
Exit the castle from the door on the right.
Use the lift ahead to go down.
Walk forward and use the Waygate.
The teleporter will take Tarnished to the Wailing Dunes, Radahn's boss area.
The Grand Lift of Dectus is located a great distance from Redmane Castle, in the northern portion of Liunia of the Lakes. To activate this lift you’ll need both sides of the Dectus Medallion. The right side can be in a chest up the ladder in Fort Faroth, which can be located in Caelid.
Back in Limgrave, you’ll locate the left side of the medallion in Fort Height on the east of Mistwood. Once you have activated The Grand Lift of Dectus you’ll want to head back to Redmane Castle, which can now be accessed via the teleporters at the Impassable Greatbridge Site of Grace.
Now, head through the castle until you happen upon NPC soldiers gathered in the courtyard. Continue up the stairs and speak to the soldier looking over the courtyard.
In this dialogue, you can begin the Radahn festival and head through the church, down the lift to face the Demigod himself, and continue your Elden Ring story.
